The Source says that in meditation, actual creation takes place. The fantastic power of the Ark illustrated the power that may be raised within us when we activate the archetype of the Christ within.

The attunement and the at-onement of our three bodies must be sought if we are to become effective channels. So, in meditation, we are seeking to attune the physical and the mental bodies to our soul and our Source. Healing may be defined in the same terms as meditation; healing is attuning the physical and the mental to our Source. To attune ourselves effectively, we need to understand the spiritual functions of our bodies, as we are shown in this interpretation of the Revelation.

In meditation the function of the mantra is to circulate the light, to awaken a response in the endocrine system. The purpose of the silence is to allow the awakened endocrine secretions to circulate throughout the body and to establish, to fixate a new more attuned pattern.

This long, continuing process is like reprogramming the cells and the response potentials of the whole body. This process is clearly necessary when we understand that we must grow to the point where we can authentically love our enemy as we are commanded. What would it require of each of us to say, as Jesus did at the cross, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”?

When it is united with the Pineal, human nature, hsing, there is the enlightenment, the Christ Consciousness, the true destiny of soul. Remember, the Christ Consciousness is the awareness of the Oneness. The Readings call it attunement or at-one-ment.

Thus, the lower-self rides upon, is carried by, a beast which is, and which is always present, but which, in fact, is not. It is temptation! The dog with the sleepers in the cave suggests that it is the temptation aspect of the soul that stays with and is the cause of the endless slumber.

Children, take heed! If for a day you do not practice meditation, this light streams out, who knows whither? If you only meditate for a quarter of an hour, by it you can do away with ten thousand aeons and a thousand births.

In the shorter term, we have discussed a time when for a thousand years only attuned souls will be permitted to incarnate. The high purpose for this amazing opportunity is to prepare a way for troubled souls to incarnate in a society in which they have a far greater chance to advance their soul development. The Readings say, “Be ye all determined to be in that number!” When we graduate from sojourning in this solar system, we may go on to a more highly enlightened consciousness in the environs of Arcturus, the consciousness center of this galaxy. Those about Cayce asked the Source, what then, after Arcturus? They were told, ‘this is not to be given.’ There is soul entanglement through-out the universe. So, we are told, that some of us as we go on may choose to experience other systems.

We have the opportunity to develop a perfect body, as the Bible says, “unto a perfect man.” The Readings say that the opportunity to develop a glorified body is the opportunity to take a gift back to God. A glorified body is a gift to God because it represents the ability of the achieved soul to be of greater service in God’s love for His wayward children. This we see in the service to His friends in the glorified resurrected body of Jesus.

The Readings also reiterate the assurance that we may never find happiness in self but only in service to others, in helping another soul. Happiness depends upon the flow of God’s love and power through us to aid another.
