Sex is not just the coming together of two bodies, but it is the uniting of two souls into one; that in itself is very powerful. The power of sex also shows its danger in having multiple sexual partners. The Apostle Paul speaks to the Corinthian church about sexual immorality and sleeping with a harlot, which makes the two one.
The nastiest, most disgusting, cunning, and seductive spirit in Satan’s hierarchy has to be what is called the sex demon.
Spiritual spouses aim to defile one’s soul and spirit, primarily through sexual acts or intercourse. After doing this, they inject shame into one’s soul. All of this is done in an attempt to establish a covenant with a person.
In coming to understand all of this, we cannot blame our sins and failures on demons. Demonic influence is inarguably very real. However, demons come only to burden and entice us to give in to the desires that lie in our own flesh. Apostle Paul said that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. This means that everyday, we are to be actively fighting against the unseen world. We also cannot blame our sins on God, because the Bible declares to us in the book of James 1:13, that God tempts no one. Having a demon of lust, for example, can set a person up to fail in that area of their life. As those doors are opened, they enable for failure in other various areas of life because of the spiritual spouses.

Chapter 3 IDENTIFYING THE SPIRITUAL SPOUSE “Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, ‘The two will become one flesh’” - 1 Corinthians 6:16.
In previous chapters, we have come to understand that the only way two people become one is through a marital relationship.
Whenever you are having sexual intercourse in your dreams, it is an indication that incubus (as a woman) or succubus (as a male) is visiting you and having sex. It is a form of abuse that makes it’s victim feel vulnerable. It is not a normal thing to sleep and have sexual dreams, even if the face that one sees is that of one’s actual husband, or wife. Sexual intercourse is to be engaged in consciously, while awake, and not unconsciously, while asleep. As these spirits come, they come to defile. The purpose of incubus and succubus is to pollute their victim’s soul and spirit. Their weapon of choice is to keep their victim bound in shame. Numerous saints in the church are having these dreams, and instead of seeking help they try to put up a good facade
There are three different types, and levels of relationship that can be initiated. The first is a hidden relationship. Spiritual spouses can come to have sexual intercourse in the night with the person, in the dreams, but as the person wakes up, they do not remember the encounter.
The second type of relationship is the masked relationship. In this type, incubus and succubus mask their appearance in the sexual dream as someone familiar, such as an actual spouse, someone whom one was formerly attached to emotionally or physically, or even a celebrity. This familiar “person” then comes to have sexual intercourse in the dream, but it is actually incubus or succubus attacking the person.
Many men and women suffer from being victims of astral sex. Astral sex is the ability to project one’s spirit man into the victim’s body and have intercourse with it. This practice is very common among satanists.

Maybe you are one of those who believe your body was just going through a phase because you have been depraved of sex. Rest assured that you are not crazy. These are very real experiences, and your experience may be very accurate and consistent with what other people have dealt with—including dreams of infidelity.
At some point, because of the presence of incubus or succubus, sometimes victims speak with the attitude of wanting to remain single. The jealous nature of incubus or succubus begins to influence and manipulate their victim’s conscious mind. Single women or men that say, “I don’t need to get married, I’m fine”, or try to prove they are sufficient on their own may be alluding to a deeper problem.
It takes being honest with oneself and seeing the root of their attitudes clearly. If they are rooted in something other than fulfillment in Christ and being gifted to stand in service to Him without marriage, self-reliant attitudes must be confronted.
One day we started praying and as the unction of deliverance was available, succubus began to manifest, reclaiming its spiritually legal rights. It said, “I am married to him, he is my husband.” At that moment I began to understand why he was never married; there was a spiritual problem. He was married in the spirit to succubus. To his shame, he was constantly having sexual dreams. By the time we prayed for him and started counselling him, he got delivered and we give glory unto God.
There have been men of God who are preparing to go and preach, but as they sleep and dream, they had sexual intercourse. When they wake up in the morning on Sunday, by the time they stand up, the unction has been swept away from them, and they can’t operate the way they’re supposed to operate in the service because of the soul defilement and injection of shame.
Satan is so clever—but all praises to the Almighty, God is WISE and POWERFUL.

Chapter 4 DO SPIRITUAL SPOUSES ACTUALLY EXIST?
Incubus and succubus usually manifest themselves to your conscious mind (or your soul) and cause you to experience all of the stimulation and physical feelings that take place during intercourse or sexual contact with a physical person.
It is also not uncommon to have experienced feeling a physical presence in the room, where one is subjected to humiliating acts, as well as being sexually abused. These spirits are not gentle in their approach, but are on the contrary very forceful and violent. The presence of incubus and succubus can cause overwhelming sexual urges in the body. It is an indication of a demonic attack if the sexual urges are so strong that they absolutely overpower the mind. It fills the thoughts so that you cannot think about anything else and it seems like there is nothing that can be done to make the urges go away. It would seem that the only relief for the urge is to have an orgasm by any means necessary.

Masturbation Imagining that you are having sexual intercourse with someone while watching something or even having thoughts to stimulate climax is a very big door. Masturbation however, is an accepted practice in the world, and is named to be a method of stress relief.
Rejection Those who have been affected by or carry the spirit of rejection are likely candidates for incubus or succubus to come in. Rejection is an open door, because one feels that they are not good enough for anything, which is a signal to those spirits to come in. Because of their experience, potentially during childhood or a broken relationship, those who feel rejected expect rejection from everything and everyone around them, so in turn, they begin in turn to reject themselves and others. They cannot accept genuine love and care in relationships, especially in present or future marital settings.
A verbal indication can come in the form where single people, make constant declarations of independence, such as, “I don’t need marriage”, “I can take care of myself,” or “Nothing about marriage intrigues me”. It is necessary to get to the source of distrust when it comes to marriage. These statements can also act as an access point in one’s life.
