Source Text

“Have a partnership with the Lord in all your undertakings!” - Yogananda advised. Without understanding its true self, the spirit, man is inevitably exposed to failure, because in life strength and wisdom come from the Spirit. Those who ignore this reality, they are cutting their own lifelines. Those persons who are consciously seeking the truth are the closest to unraveling the mystery of life and God, the First Cause of everything. The practice of kriya yoga is deep meditation combined with full awareness in daily activities. Most people, during work or other daily activities, are not paying attention to their inner being. Therefore, first meditate and feel the conscious presence, inside and outside of you, then do your work saturated with this state of awareness. In this manner, your life will be filled with love and strength and inner knowledge; and, when your daily work is done, you come back to the meditation, in silence.
