First of all, one early morning we visited the temple of Karnack at Luxor. During the tour, I entered a small chamber that contained a 5,000 year-old life-size statue of the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet. I was totally unprepared for what I experienced. I was overwhelmed by a wonderful feeling of love and happiness. I glanced at the blue-green marble statue at the end of the chamber, wondering what-in-the-heck was happening to me. A picture of this statue is enclosed.
