According to Paul Twitchell, The Tiger’s Fang is one such divine presentation. A presentation which resulted from the concern of a spiritual traveler, Rebazar Tarzs, who desired to reveal certain cosmic truths to his chela Paul Twitchell. A spiritual traveler of the caliber of Rebazar Tarzs does not care whether we accept him or his words, Twitchell tells us, but he does desire that we listen, weigh, and judge what he says. “Here is the crux of the matter,” Twitchell explains. “If we listen, weigh, and judge his wisdom… we shall never again be the same. He addresses Soul, not the mind nor the body; and he awakens Soul to Its true destiny.”
When a traveler speaks, we, in ignorance, think he speaks to the physical self. This is wrong. He addresses Soul, not the mind nor the body; and he awakens Soul to Its true destiny. There is danger in this however. If a person is not normally experienced in the world of Spirit he may be contacted by one with only psychic powers, and awaken within him those lower faculties. We often mistake psychic awareness for that of the spiritual. This is not good for it stops our growth on the spiritual path.
1 Sailors of the Cosmic Sea Man has always had the consuming desire to sail the cosmic seas and eventually reach the far shores where dwells the Lord of all creation.
Secondly, I wish to point out that the human form is the focal point for the energies of this world and serves as a point of balance between them. All that is material substance, food, and water is of the negative nature; and all that is breath, atoms, electrons, and prana vitality is of the positive nature. We cannot do without either as long as we are here on this earth in human embodiment.
The wild surf lashed the shore, and a wind whipped the pines along the edge of the strand.
The sea was crystal blue, and the lacy surf was like a million sparkling diamonds that dashed up against the sandy beach and ran off into the sea again.
The distant horizon was majestic with foaming whitecaps. Yet there was a silence, a strange, wonderful silence so deep-reaching that it stirred through me. Looking down at my body, a feeling of joy went through me; I was wearing a white robe of light which flowed around me in a circular motion, a gentle swirling current. There were no feet, no hands, nothing but a ball of swirling light. My vision was below where my feet should have been, and it was also in back of my head. It was anywhere I directed my attention—all simultaneously. When I spoke there was a multitude of sounds issuing from me.
“This is the cosmic sea of life,” he explained. “Look at the water. It is not really water as you think, but trillions of undeveloped Souls struggling to find their way to God perfection. Look!”
“The Ocean of Love,” said Rebazar Tarzs. “The love current, which I often speak of as the Master Power, is always moving into the worlds, into that vast area beyond, into space, time, and motion—that which comprises the worlds below the Second Grand Division!”
Its heights could have been many times greater than Mount Everest, and out of its summit poured lights, millions of lights, flowing into the worlds, onward and upward into the clear sky until they faded in the light of a majestic sun. Rebazar Tarzs said, “That is the great mountain of Sahasra-dal-Kanwal. Sometimes it is called the Mountain of Light. Look closely, and you will see a thousand varied lights clustered around one huge central light, each in the form of a gigantic lotus flower. This is the powerhouse of the physical universe which we call Pinda, that of the physical worlds. From this gigantic dynamo flows all the power that creates and sustains all creation below it, worlds upon worlds without end.
