- Invite your teams to reflect on the virtues. This is my favorite. As I have led multiple groups of leaders to create these powerful leadership books, I’ve used the virtues in our group calls as a point of reflection and connection, and you can, too. Simply take ten minutes at the start of your next team meeting to share a virtue with your team and invite them to share their reflections on it. You will be blown away by what a simple word will spark in individuals! This shift in perspective is profound because the virtues bring in wonder, gratitude, and curiosity—the critical ingredients to innovation, communication, and collaboration.
